Our Story

Kevin Youngblood spent years in the glazing trade before starting USGA in 2007. He wanted the freedom to demonstrate what he'd learned, and to work directly with the clients he served instead of through layers of process.

USGA began with a small team and grew the way it still operates today: through completed work, reputation, and relationships, not marketing. The company gets involved early when it can, works through difficult glazing conditions using real trade experience, and keeps office, project, shop, and field personnel talking to each other throughout a job.

USGA has kept developing since, and the standard hasn't changed: work gets done correctly.

45+ Years in the Trade

Founded USGA in 2007

Kevin brings more than 45 years of hands-on glazing experience to USGA, knowledge built from decades in the trade rather than a title. He remains closely involved in the business today, and he brings that experience directly to bear on the difficult decisions a project can raise.

Kevin believes in straightforward communication: clients get honest answers, not a sales pitch. He expects work to be done correctly the first time, and he wants everyone at USGA to keep learning from the trade the way he has.

“If you can’t do it correctly, don’t do it at all”

USGA Today

The Team Behind the Work

Kevin's experience is backed by a team that spans estimating, project management, engineering and drafting, administration, the shop, and the field, with departments that talk to each other instead of working in isolation. The office is friendly and people joke around, but the expectation for the work itself doesn't bend: it gets done correctly and professionally.
