Curtain Wall & Window Wall Systems

A curtain wall is a non-structural exterior wall of aluminum framing and glass or panels, hung from a building's structure and running past the floor edges. It can be assembled piece by piece on site (stick-built) or delivered as factory-glazed units (unitized). A window wall is a related system set between floors.

USGA Inc. installs aluminum curtain walls on hospitality, civic and multi-family projects across the Bay Area, including radius curtain walls in San Francisco and a 52-story residential project. The metal around the glass is part of the same scope.

The metal around the glass

Curtain wall work rarely stops at the glass. USGA's project scopes include canopy composite panels, Centria panels, sunshade canopies, column covers and custom metal panels, which is the architectural metals side of the work.

Window wall and panelized systems

Window wall is one of the systems USGA installs, and our General Superintendent brings 20+ years of glazing field experience, with expertise in curtain walls, metal panels, window walls and panelized units. We evaluate which system suits a building during preconstruction, when input on system selection and constructability still has the most impact on the outcome.
