Custom & Specialty Glazing
Some projects call for glass that does not come out of a standard catalog: a point-supported glass wall, a folding glass wall that opens a room to the outdoors, fire-rated glazing between floors, or a custom entry portal. These systems take more coordination, which is why we get involved early.
USGA Inc. selects, fabricates and installs custom and specialty glazing for hospitality, civic, education and commercial projects around the Bay Area. When a project calls for something outside a standard catalog system, we build it to fit.
What this work includes
- Point-supported structural glass, including a custom structural glass wall with vertical glass mullions, a point-supported canopy and point-supported glass walls at a winery.Examples: J-POP Center, Gateway, Hall Winery, Grand Hyatt
- NanaWall folding glass walls, including a 125-foot installation at a university gymnasium and multi-folding doors at a winery.Examples: USF War Memorial Gymnasium, Congregation Rodef Sholom, Hall Winery
- Fire-rated glazing between floors and interior fire-rated storefronts.Examples: J-POP Center
